THE DESIGNER


Born in Milan, Rinaldo Gambari attended both public schools and private international schools in Milan and Switzerland. This mixture of different environments has perhaps allowed us to have a more open and creative mentality.

From an early age he had the opportunity to explore the world thanks to two unconventional parents who allowed him to absorb the most diverse cultural energies, going from cultural trips to the four sides of the world, to trips of exclusive pleasure and madness in the famous Mediterranée club, which was at the time a meeting place for bizarre personalities.

He also absorbed the stimuli of the legendary Milan of the 80s which was at that time the greatest forge of talent in every sector and unleashed creativity in every part of the city.

His family had a sporting club in Milan, where he was able to meet other unconventional personalities and spend moments of rare intensity, as well as train as an athlete.

After his military service, he spent several years in his father's large company and then began studying architecture at the Milan Polytechnic and at the Helsinki Design School.

After obtainig a master's degree, the first assignments as an interior architect and designer began.

In 2010, after collaborations with major fashion brands, he decides to produce the first prototype which marks the beginning of Gambari Milano.

The decision to create handbag models is simple, it is linked to the vanity of beauty and the desire to spread beauty around the world,and seeing the birth of creations that come to life and have a life of their own.

The designer does not look at what other brands produce in order not to be influenced and in order to create a unique line with personality.

Mr. Gambari’s family founded Detto Pietro company in 1895, the first producer of cycling shoes in Italy.
